Bigg Boss Season 16 is on deck to be officially telecasted from October 1, 2022. On September 25, the crew of Bigg Boss Season 16 released a promo mentioning the grand premiere of the show from October 1, 2022, onwards.

The grand opening of Bigg Boss Season 16 will be aired on October 1 and 2 on Colours TV.

 Where is Bigg Boss 16 happening?

The house of Bigg Boss season 16 has been constructed in Filmcity, Mumbai. It has taken almost 6 months to design and construct Bigg Boss 16 house. 

Earlier Bigg Boss houses from season 1 to 12 were located in Lonavala. For the thirteenth and fifteenth seasons, the houses were constructed at Goregaon. The fourteenth season house was constructed at Filmcity.

Again now, Season 16 of Bigg Boss has been set up at Filmcity, Mumbai.

How to watch Bigg Boss 16?

Bigg Boss Season 16 will be telecasted on Colors TV from October 1 onwards. The show timing will be from 10 pm on weekdays(Monday to Friday) and 9:30 pm on weekends(Saturday and Sunday).

The show will also be streamed on the OTT platform, Voot. The viewers can watch the show online from 9:30 pm on weekdays and 9 pm on weekends.

The Bigg Boss house is spread across an area of about 18,500 square feet.

Adding on a new twist for this season, the Bigg Boss Season 16 house is constructed with our bedrooms. In earlier seasons there were only two bedrooms. 

Even before the telecast, Bigg boss 16 kinked the audience with four bedrooms.

The interior design of the house has been pulled off by Omung Kumar B and Vanita Omung Kumar. The four rooms are named the ‘Fire Room’, ‘Cards Room’, ‘Black and White Room’ and ‘Vintage Room’.

The theme of the house being ‘circus’, Salman Khan would turn the ringmaster to whip off the contestants in the whole season.

As the show is almost near the date of premiere, Salman Khan in a press meet held on September 27 introduced the first contestant of Bigg Boss 16.

Breaking the wait, Abdu Rozik is announced as the first contestant of Bigg Boss Season 16. In the press meet, Abdu entered uttering the famous dialogue of Salman Khan from the movie Dabangg, “ Swaagat nahi karoge humara!”
