Navratri is beginning today. This festival is a nine-day holiday dedicated to Adi Shakti, Maa Bhavani, Mother Jagat Janani, and Maa Durga. Maa Durga as Shailputri

Mata Shailputri Worship method

• Do Ghatasthapana as well as worship first thing in the morning after waking up early and having a bath, etc.
• Then, worship Maa Shailputri and present the mother with Akshat, white flowers, incense, vermilion, a lamp, fruits, sweets, perfume, etc.
• Give Maa Shailputri milk-based treats or cow ghee as an offering.
• Say the above mantra to worship during this.
• Read Maa Shaitraputri’s tale from the heart.
• After that, perform the mother’s aarti using a ghee lamp before concluding your worship with an apology.

The story behind Shardiya Navratri

When Ravana was killed during the Lankan War, Brahmaji commanded Shri Ram to worship Chandi Devi to appease the Goddess. Additionally, the law made 108 rare beans available for Chandi Poojan and Havan. Ravan, in contrast, began Chandi training to become immortal. Indra Dev informed Shri Ram of this through Pawan Dev and then conferred with Chandi to ensure that the instruction was as thorough as possible.

Through Pawan Dev, Indra Dev informed Shri Ram of this and advised him to give the Chandi Lesson as completely as possible. The worship of Shri Ram was about to be interrupted when a Nilkamal from the place of worship disappeared from the incense burner due to Ravan’s elusive power. The vow made by Shri Ram was broken. The goddess-mother might not have lost her cool, which was a worry.

When it became impossible to arrange for the rare Nilkamal, Shri Ram suddenly realised that he also went by the name Kamal-Nayan Nawkavang Lochan. Why not give one eye over to the veneration of the mother? Goddess then came, holding her hand, and said, “I am delighted as well as blessed by Vijayashree,” as Lord Rama prepared to remove an eye after extracting an arrow from her.

On the opposite side, Hanuman Ji assumed the guise of a Brahmin child but also joined Hanumanji while worshipping Ravana. Additionally, a Brahmin performing puja recited the poem Bharati Harinani, Jaya Devi, where Harini denotes the sorrow of the devotee and Karani denotes anguish and anguish. As a result, Durga cursed Ravana in her rage. Ravana was also defeated.

Another story behind Navratri 

Another tale surrounding this celebration claims that Mahishasur, a Buffalo Devil, was killed by Goddess Durga. The deities had given Mahishasur the bridesmaid to be invincible because they were pleased with his service. Mahishasur began abusing him after obtaining that blessing as well as extending hell to heaven’s door. To claim ownership of the sky, Mahishasur extinguished the rights of the sun, Indra, moon, fire, yam, air, and Varun, as well as other gods. The goddesses had to traverse the land while avoiding Mahishasura.

The gods then produced the Durga memorial out of their wrath over Mahishasur’s suffering. The gods reinforced them by dedicating all of their weapons and weaponry to Durga to kill Mahishasura. He battled Mahishasur for 9 days, and in the end, Mahishasura was slain and given the name Mata Durga Mahishasurmardini.
