Our retired players are back in form with a new season of the Road Safety World Series following an amazing response from cricket fans. With the inclusion of New Zealand Legends, it will be 8 teams this time rather than the seven teams from the previous season.
In the opening match of the second season of the Road Safety World Series, on September 10, the reigning champion India Legends would host the South African Legends at Kanpur’s Green Park Stadium.
Number and location of matches
There are 23 scheduled games in all, with the championship match set on October 1st. Raipur, Kanpur, Dehradun, and Raipur will host this year’s matches, as opposed to Mumbai and Raipur, two Indian cities, which hosted the competition’s first season.
This year’s championship has eight teams and participation from legendary players from Bangladesh, West Indies, England, New Zealand, and Sri Lanka. The defending champions, India Legends, will compete in the Road Safety World Series in 2022.
Host Stadium
The first seven contests will be placed in Kanpur’s Green Park. After the following 5 games take place at the Holkar Stadium in Indore, the action will travel to the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium throughout Dehradun for the remaining six contests.
The final two league stage games as well as every knockout game, including the title game, will be played at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Stadium in Raipur.
