JoSAA Counseling for JEE Advanced Eligible Candidates 2022, Registration and choice filling begins today; Entrance Gate to IITs, and NITs
JoSAA, joint seat allocation authority counseling, is set to begin today September 12 for the 2022 candidates. Students who cracked on JEE main and advanced 2022 are eligible for this call.
JoSAA is primarily conducted for admission to IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. The registration and choice filling process of JOSAA starts form today. You can register through the official site – josaa.nic.ni.
Remember, the last date of registration is Sept 21, 2022, before that complete your choice filling process.
JoSAA counseling is taking six rounds to fill. And every step defines important rules and regulations inside. So, please don’t swift on anywhere. It is a one-in-a-blue moon opportunity, therefore never allow it to leak through the gap.
How to register
Candidates should refer to the official site josaa.nic.in. Where you can have all the information like
- Eligibility rules, application form submission process, fee structure, and payment procedure.
- Register through the new candidate registration and one more thing you will be allowed to register only once for counseling.
- After this, you will get a unique roll number and password for future logins.
JoSAA will allow you to lock your choice. For that, it is said to release two mock allotments on Sept 17 and 19. Which is based on your choice list. There you have to lock it till 20th Sept because the choice filling round will end on Sept 21.
Round 1 seat allotment results will be published on Sept 23. Then, you can report online for admission at your preferred institution up to Sept 26.

- Temporary JOSAA seat allotment letter for 2022
- Identity details ( Id proof)
- Passport size photos ( have at least 5, will be useful in many cases)
- Download your JEE advanced admit card on jeeadv.ac.in
- 10 and 12th marks sheet and date of birth for validations
- Seat acceptance proof (fee payment challan/ net banking)

To have a better list of your choice, go through the previous year’s placement. And, the institution’s reputation although it is a government organization.
Check some of their facilities like safety, fee structure (everything is nearly the same), and the course. Please don’t go over the name of the institute. Many students make these mistakes in every sector.
Just because it is IIT doesn’t mean you can have a better career. Always choose courses ahead of the colleges or organizations. That way you can have a sense of motive while studying.
